Berytech organizes Workshop on Company Valuation

Mar Roukoz, August 10, 2007 - Featuring Mr. Constantin Salameh, a global finance expert, the full-day workshop took place on Friday August 10 in Berytech Mar Roukoz and involved a group of Berytech entrepreneurs and a number of financial experts.

Salameh guided the participants through unique methods of company valuation: Relative, Asset-based, Cash-flow and which were illustrated by three different case studies and focused on the all prevailing issue of value creation which evades the most successful international companies. The session also covered alternative valuation methodologies and topics pertaining to private equity market dynamics, and mergers & acquisitions failures. It revealed key lessons from real-life business cases and business planning best practices.

The workshop leader covered as well case that was volunteered from one of the present entrepreneurs who shared his company’s real figures, to illustrate the topic of Cash Flow Valuation Methodology. The workshop was generally quite interactive, generating inquisitive feedback from participants who challenged at times some of the concepts proposed. Discussions continued animatedly over the different coffee breaks and lunch session.

About the workshop leader:Mr. Constantin Salameh is based in Switzerland and has over 25 years of international & cross-functional business experience in Manufacturing, Financial Services, Technology & Retail industries. He is Board Member of HP International Bank, YES, MEA-Institute, BIL and HP Finance China & Indonesia. He is VP & MD of HP Financial Services in Asia Pacific and EMEA, and is also Senior VP and CFO of a global family holding. He is now focused on management education in leadership, strategy, finance and entrepreneurship. His academic background includes degrees from King’s College (BSc.Eng), MIT (MSc.Eng) and Stanford (MBA).
